Guam Liberation Day Parade

Today, July 21st, is Liberation Day on the island of Guam and marks 66 years of liberation for the island;  it is also an official holiday for Guam with most businesses and government agencies closed for the celebration of our island’s freedom.  The major event happening on the island is the Guam Liberation Day Parade which takes place on Marine Corps Drive starting at Adelup and ending in Hagatna near Paseo.  This year’s Liberation Day Parade will start at 10am, but some pre-parade activities will take place a little before the parade starts.  In addition to the Liberation Day Parade there will also be a fireworks show at the Guam Liberation Carnival in Paseo which starts at 9pm.

Everyone is invited to partake in all the events, entertainment and festivities happening this Liberation Day!  We wish everyone a safe and happy Liberation Day on the island of Guam!
